A piece of paper about 1m by 20cm. Fax paper is ideal (we were fortunate enough to find an old Venetian blind which cane ready pleated) Two wide popsicle sticks PVA (white) glue Sticky tape Coloring pens Decorate your paper with the pens. We went for butterflies and flowers but older children might like to try something more authentic like blossom or calligraphy. ‘Pleat’ the paper into folds about 1 1/2cm wide. Glue a popsicle stick onto each end of the paper. The popsicle sticks should stick out about 2cm above the top of the paper.
