Students will learn how to create and license their creations.. http://creativecommons.org/videos/  Students choose Gimp or Google to create a unique design and then upload it under the creative commons license. We will viewed several videos at the Creative Commons website: Wanna Work Together, Building on the Past, and Mix Tape. This has introduced the concept of selecting a license based on how you want others to use your work.

 

Create something that makes a statement about you. You can draw it- Combined photo's-make a logo. Think of it as a design that could be applied to clothing, or a brand name.

1) Go to www.gimp.org

2) Choose your version. In this case, we will set it up for Windows. This is located on the left side menu about half way down.
